Here's another UPDATE on our progress:

👉 We have received the second sample and it is so much better than the first one! More cushion, softer, comfier, just as we hoped! Even the fingers (which were the most complex part of the cushion and the cause of all the back and forth in development in the past weeks) look just right! The sample is currently tested by the whole team, including Sylvain's family! ❤

👉 Next steps: the third and final sample is on its way and should arrive this week. This particular one features a smaller zipper than the first two. Afterwards, Sylvain and the team will pick the best one and give the OK for mass production!

👉 We're getting close to shipping and we're going above and beyond to start shipping in December. We'll keep you updated as we progress!

Sleeve update

Hi everyone, 

We many of you know, the sleeve has been a struggle to create. We have now pre-approved 3 of the 5+ sleeve manufacturers we recently got in contact with. We are now expecting their samples in the next days. From them we'll select the final one to start the production. If everything goes as planned since our last exchange with the supplier we are expecting to start the delivery the first week of December.

Some of you may have find out that MonPère travel pillow has changed it's name for MyDaddy'sArms since the recent trademark issue. 

Also, our manufacturers & designers are confident about the next sample. We don't have a fixed date yet before receiving it but we'll keep you all advised as soon as receive it.

Update about the sleeve and our mission

Hi everyone, 

Thank you for sending us such an amazing support in the last 2 weeks, we received so many great messages despite the delays that we are experiencing that it couldn't make us more motivated to move forward. 

Last week we received the new samples of the arm and we are now waiting on the sleeves next week. If only the sleeve was as comfortable as our initial prototype, you would of all be preparing to receive the pillow, but the mission we have to optimise the sleeping experience all always remained the main goal. 

As you know our initial market was dedicated to travellers and if it was solely for them, the pillow as is would of been great, especially in comparison to what's on the market right now. But as we move forward, my daddy's heart was touched by parents of disable kids coming up to us to buy the pillow to offer their child a sense of comfort. Imagine how terrible it must feel for them to see their kids suffering a little everyday. Compared to travelling and sleeping badly for couple hours, that's unimaginable.  We also got so many ''kids'' of older parents who are going through the Parkinson disease or living on a wheelchair who came up to us to get the pillow. Remember when you go and see your elders, how uncomfortable you feel for some people who seem to be ''off'' on their chair, clearly not ergonomically positioned. I personally always felt like helping them, but couldn't truly know how. Well that's going to be something of the past and that's thanks to you. To you who have waited patiently, to you who have been sending us amazing support, to you who were always there to give your best advice and opinions. Maybe it's just because we're closer to delivery than ever, but I truly want to thank you for opening my eyes on how we can help society even with a pillow.  

Be ASSURE that we will keep you updated, and that our very next step is to get the sleeve right. In fact, we are looking to add memory foam in the sleeve to make it the most comfortable, flexible and supportive pillow on the market. Maybe the pillow won't arrive on time for your vacation of this year, but it will surely help everyday parents & kids who suffer like we don't and remember that it's also for them that we are working so hard. Sometimes in life, we get used to being in our comfort, but it's not everyone who experience it as we do. We need to think a little bigger, to open our eyes and to be considerate on those people. In the end, all of us will sleep better, deeper and in a MUCH MUCH MUCH better position. Trust us!

Soon this person sleeping like our baby Aleksa will be you! Oh and BTW, this image was taken last week, proof that we are on the verge to delivery worldwide! Let's keep it moving!!!

With all my heart and soul, I look forward to seeing you sleeping like babies whether it's on the plane, the car, the wheelchair or at the beach!

Unfortunate News

Hi backers, 

As you know we have been unfortunately silent in the last couple weeks because of 1 very bad news and one bad news. Since we wish to be transparent with all of you we are sharing this information.

The very bad news is that we had to resend the articulated arms to our manufacturers because of air bubbles that popped into the silicon which is causing another delay. We we're told that we would get the new samples by next week. We have every inch of our fingers crossed that it's going to be the right one this next time. 

The bad news is that our trademark has been copied in China which means that we will have to change our name in this country. It doesn't directly affect you but in case you see the same product as us but with a different name, that would be the reason why. 

To end on a good note, the shipment will be done as fast as we can and we will double our effort to ship them to you. 

Naturally we know that most of you are going to be disappointed because you are either going on vacation or your siblings need to have the pillows for their well being, but we assure you the only reason we haven't approved the first sample is because they weren't good enough. Our goal is truly to make sure you experience the best sleeping tool on the market. 

We thank you for your understanding and rest assured we are doing our best to solve this situation in the next days.
